Maltese Cathedral

This one's just a pretty picture. It is wife E (towards the bottom right) in St. Paul's Cathedral, Mdina, Malta. This is a Baroque cathedral, built around 1700. Perhaps rather, rebuilt after an earthquake. According to tradition, the cathedral stands on the site where Roman governor Publius met St. Paul following his shipwreck on Malta. You may click on the photo to enlarge. OBSERVATION: This photo would be impossible with a normal camera, as it takes in both floor and ceiling at the same time. I stitched two wide-angle shots together.
