Gross Defamation

Someone asked me this week whether my old city Church had corrected "gross defamation" against me. I said no, they had not. They replied, "It's a disgrace!" The retraction was ordered in an independent fact-finding report earlier this year. OBSERVATION: Seven people were directly involved in serious defamation against me. They put their signatures to it, and circulated it. As best I know, every one of them is out of the Church now -- except one. The treasurer. The best thing that could happen is for him now to lead the required apology.

POSTSCRIPT: Why is the defamation only an issue years later? I received written proof of it for the first time, from the Legal Practice Council, in January this year. Before that, I only had rumours.
