I took this photo exactly four months before the death of my wife Mirjam -- here leading the Church's Women's Association. She said to me many times before she died, "Après moi le déluge." This means, "After me, the catastrophe (the Flood)." Yet after she died, there was no catastrophe. The Women's Association grew and grew. On occasion, it filled the whole of our main hall. However, after my ministry ended, there came le déluge. Today, there is no more Women's Association.
