I read an article today --
The Polycrisis -- in which Ville Lähde, a Finnish researcher, writes that "t
here is no root cause to the totality of environmental problems, nor can there be a unified solution". This is something that exercised Holmes Rolston III, the "father of environmentalism", with whom I had a personal correspondence. He considered that there is an "epistemic crisis", which is greater than any of the parts. OBSERVATION: I consider that there definitely is a "root cause". This is the subject of my next major book.
