Clifton

This is Kloof Road, upper Clifton, in Cape Town, one of South Africa's most affluent suburbs (note the Porsche cabriolet in the foreground). This whole area seems ever restless with demolitions and building works, and the commotion to go with it. There are four cranes in this photo. I claim that Kloof Road is merely an access road to building operations. OBSERVATION: Clifton is famous for its beaches, which incidentally are seasonal, in the sense that they are stripped of sand in the winter, and replenished in the summer. I travel this road most days.
