I have a few photos of Cape Town's Central Methodist Church on my blog. Here is another. The congregation traces its origins to 1806. The present
sanctuary was built under the supervision of the architect Charles Freeman, and opened on the 12th of November 1879. You may click on the photo to enlarge to 200k.
OBSERVATION: One will see that the pews are separated in the middle. Usually that was to separate the men from the women -- I don't know if that was the case here.
