In The Event Of Death

One of my earliest publications was a leaflet titled What to Do in the Event of Death. Early in my ministry, I discovered that people didn't know what to do, and were making basic mistakes. The leaflet was sponsored by my Church, and advertised (free) by local newspapers, and there was a demand for it. Even today, advice is thin on the ground, and this seems to focus on Where's the money? and What's the best product? I see that Personal Trust offer a Bereavement Booklet, although I can't access it due to poor Internet in Cape Town this morning (something one doesn't want in an emergency). OBSERVATION: Call your minister, and call the undertakers. A good undertaker thinks for you, down to the details. Yet as regards the latter, there are sharks out there. In Cape Town, I personally recommend Constantiaberg Funeral Home, which is run by a compassionate Anglican priest -- which is not to say that others would not be a good choice.
