I was in touch this week with Rowland Croucher, who ministered in some of the biggest Churches in Australia and Canada. But it wasn't all plain sailing. In his on-line biography, he writes that, in one Church, “four powerful people” of average age 77.5 didn’t like his style, and he resigned. In another Church, there was a vote by non-attenders whom “most didn’t know”, and he was out. Rowland will soon be turning 80. OBSERVATION: He “spotted” me as a writer many years ago, and invited me to write for his popular website. And I did.
