I visited a small Church in Cape Town's Atlantic Area last week, where I took this photo of the sound desk. There seem to me to be multiple things communicated through this photo. OBSERVATION: Churches are typically just on the edge of a good lighting situation, where one could either select a flash or not. I nearly always turn my flash off -- firstly because this yields better pictures (even if they should be a little bit more fuzzy) -- and of course, a flash is about as welcome in a Church as it is at the opera or in the theatre.
