My previous post signals the return of my Fuji X30 camera after repairs under guarantee -- and my first new photo expedition. Fuji did themselves proud, although there were crossed wires between us which meant that the camera was fixed and ready without my knowing it. It has a whole new innards and a mind transplant, too. OBSERVATION: I've never come across it before in a camera, but the Fuji X30 has "restrictions" -- a great many restrictions -- three pages of them. Here's an example. I set the camera to silent mode before I walked (squeezed) into the cathedral. Then I wanted filler flash to capture protesters outside. It refused to use the flash. Because "silent" means no flash.
