I took this photo yesterday in Cape Town’s Company Gardens. It is a gigantic fig tree. I estimate that there are well over 100 figs in this photo. I picked one, and tried it. It had no worms. It was very sticky, and tasted like cardboard. OBSERVATION: Cape Town’s Company Gardens used to supply ships on rounding the Cape. Tours du Cap says: "These trees are probably the most awesome aspect of the Company’s Garden." One may click on the photo to enlarge.
