Under my ministr(ies), a consistent policy was to build legacies -- by which I mean the monetary kind. It would be safe to say that, by my 20th year of city ministry -- at which point we had had many years to work on this policy -- we could tie most legacies we received to this policy. In fact many legacies came as a direct result of personal conversations I had had with people about them. Ultimately it is the Lord who moves someone to give, yet in some years, our legacies were a blessing which were important to the stable continuation of the Church. OBSERVATION: To put it simply, it is the question: "Have you remembered the Church in your will?"
