Clear Direction

One of my priorities in ministry is to make it clear to the Church what we are about, and where we are going -- but always in close consultation with the whole Church. Here is an example (pictured). I put this up on a notice board after having consulted with the Church. I have also, in every members' meeting, shared with members where the minister's (proposed) emphasis lies until the next meeting. OBSERVATION: I once, long ago, received an objection. A minister should report on the past, not talk about the future. Actually, this is important spiritually (of which many examples in Scripture), but not an either-or.
