A Safe Place

Tomorrow I should be meeting, in Johannesburg, an ex Youth leader (pictured) under my city ministry. She said to me once, about the urban youth: "They often come from oppressive situations. But when they walk into Youth, you see them relax, they feel free, it is a safe place for them. Sometimes when they walk out again, you see the fear come over their faces." OBSERVATION: It was a wonderful thing to say. And as tough as these youths were, they seemed very soft if one put them out of Youth for bad behaviour -- which was never longer than once at a time.
