Goodbye to the Plot

It's a sad day. Today I sold my property in the country -- today I received the payment. The past year was in fact catastrophic, as order and security declined in the village. This is a wooden cabin on the property, at the confluence of perennial and seasonal streams. Perhaps I should say, it was a wooden cabin on the property. It was all but destroyed.
