Our mountains around Cape Town have powerful springs -- and a few
seeping springs. This is a seeping spring close to my home -- in fact Google Maps places my home inside the Table Mountain World Heritage Site. One sees that there is water here, by the lush vegetation.
OBSERVATION: The typical vegetation on the mountain is
fynbos, of which there are 1 460 different species. One sees the upper cable station in the photo. The trees in the distance on the right were imported by Huguenot refugees.
