When I married E, I married The Clan. It is a large clan, because her mother was born of two clans. Closer relatives number in the hundreds. Anyway, E had a quality chocolate cake yesterday for her birthday. She had a slice, and I had a slice -- then we had it delivered it to The Clan, some 440 km to the east, in spite of the Army lockdown. The Clan cut it up in a great many pieces, and distributed them to all. "That was the finest cake," said one of the elders. "How much did that cake cost?" OBSERVATION: To reach the whole clan it would have needed to travel yet farther east, which alas, it could not.
