John Williams VII

This is the famous mission ship the John Williams VII, which was christened by Princess Margaret. It was paid for by children -- a mission ship which was launched "not by might, nor by power", but by boys and girls. So much of the missionary movement came from weakness and not the might of empire. OBSERVATION: I saw the next John Williams, the John Williams VIII, after the close of the great missionary era. It was a canoe. I may still have a photo somewhere.
