They Don't Care

The problem in South Africa today is that, actually, they don't care. The government doesn't care about its citizens. And this sets the tone for many non-governmental bodies, too -- even the Church. One should add, they don't care by and large, because there are some who do care. I refer not only to the hardships that citizens bear (more than 300 people have died in riots in South Africa this month), but the interminable battles one has in seeking basic service, honest service. Multiply the thought by millions: "They don't care," and you have the potential for a revolution.
