Crippled and Renewed

A minister friend told me that he lost eight members of staff all at once. A troublemaker had destroyed the spirit on his team. He is a mature, sincere, long-serving, competent minister -- and the Church has disciplinary procedures in place, to forestall this kind of thing. I was surprised that this could happen to him -- and yet I think that such things are seldom predictable or manageable. So-called "spiritual warfare" never was. OBSERVATION: My friend bounced back. He recognised what this was, and spoke and acted accordingly. One does not always correctly identify what one is dealing with.
