(Supposedly) For Nothing

Several years ago, this brief post was a hit:

"I spent an hour-and-a-half in a traffic jam today to reach a member in hospital. Then I found her asleep, on oxygen, and she couldn't be roused. I left a note on her bedside table."

OBSERVATION: I have often found in ministry that a note is as much appreciated as a visit. That is, a note which is left behind where a hospital or home visit was (supposedly) for nothing. Such visits are not for nothing.
