Some observations about my book, now that it is getting out:
•
Many have said, “A metaphysics is too difficult for me.” However, most
philosophies are more difficult than this. At sentence level, my book is
written for Grade 10 (says computer analysis). As a whole, let’s say
that school leavers will “get it”.
• My book has come under
attack for being postmodern. But modernists, in fact, have the larger
problem. Just open the front door, and one sees the disastrous effects
of modernism (a bronze sky today, outside my door).
• I myself
have come under attack from religionists. It's important to note here
that my book provides a framework for faith, which most metaphysics do
not. At the same time, though, I seek not to cross the line between
philosophy and theology.
The significance of my book is that it is the first metaphysics—the first total, integrated philosophy—in a very long time. There is another currently in production, in German (Neues System), but no new book that is as sweeping as this.
