I took this photo on Friday of Scotsman Rev. Dr. Dane Sherrard, who presided over extraordinary turnarounds of a number of Churches. The core of his message was twofold: 1. “When the Church tries to do good things, there is so much good will out there … so many people who are glad to help,” and 2. “When we take risks, God takes us and uses us way beyond our imaginings.” OBSERVATION: The photo might look like a close-up, but it's a 142mm zoom shot.
.
NOTE: With hindsight, there was a third “core” of his message, which one read between the lines: he brushed off (circumvented, someone said) serious negativism, opposition, and stonewalling. As an example, he wouldn't have it that his Church would be demolished.
