Sheep and Goats

In the Church, there are sheep and there are goats. Sometimes the sheep will act like goats, and sometimes the goats will act like sheep. As to what proportion of sheep there is to goats, that will surely vary a lot. I consider therefore that one needs to preach as though one is preaching both to sheep and to goats. Also, one needs to maintain an environment that enables the sheep to flourish, and prevents the goats from kicking and chewing the Church to ruin. This, I think, is to put simply New Testament priorities for a healthy Church.
