This is a prehistoric wall in the Suurveld, of which a few hundred metres / yards is mostly still intact (and in better shape than this photo suggests). I climbed a hill to explore it. Some of the foundation stones are huge, and the rest are well fitted. A local told me that the Khoisan laid foundations for the wall with mud. There are no Khoisan in the area now.
OBSERVATION: But what was the wall for? It did not enclose an area. Perhaps it was a trap? It is situated in the corner of a vast valley.
