The Scientific Method (Example)

I have changed this post to something more useful. Several years ago, I invented a new principle of metal detecting, called CCO, or Coil Coupled Operation -- which was journal published. I already was familiar with what is called a TCO, or transformer coupled oscillator. In this, an input is electromagnetically coupled with an output. Importantly -- with regard to the scientific method -- the TCO is governed by theory which has no interest in outside influences on the inductance of the coils (and vice versa). Now consider that one example of such outside influences is coins beneath the earth, which change the frequency of the TCO. Therefore to do the inventing, my mind leapt outside of straight TCO theory, to discover a new principle which rested precisely on those influences in which the theory had no interest. OBSERVATION: Therefore, the scientific method is more than mere induction (not to be confused with inductance).
