I took this chance shot through a doorway with a Leica. Particularly interesting is the diversity of these three women -- the woman on the left in traditional dress, the one in the middle a city slicker peering into a smart-phone, and the one on the right dressed in a labourer's finest. They were brought together by a New Year's eve service -- or, to take the broader view, a shared childhood. An old Aga stove stands in the background. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
