Intrusion Theories

Someone said to me recently, it was children who targeted your personal information (in dozens of intrusions). This is surely one of the kookier theories I have heard. There are at least six theories in the running: • It was mere break-ins: I think, in some cases yes. But this accounts poorly for all that happened. • It was intimidation: I didn't think of this, the police did. I don't know what to make of it. • People badly wanted some information I had: This would explain a few things, especially the thoroughness of the searches. • People wanted to disrupt something: For instance, a case in preparation. I don't know about that. • People wanted some dirt on me: Maybe. But they can't have come up with much. • People wanted to plant something: Drugs, for instance, or bugs. I don't think so. There is no evidence to suggest it. OBSERVATION: My personal information which has either been searched or removed includes: personal notebooks, medical records, travel documents, computer data, personal diaries, photos, Church records, audio tapes, private letters, academic records. Entry and exit were in many cases very slick.
