Recently a good-natured family man exploded with uncontrollable emotion, and he didn't settle down. People were disorientated. They didn't know what had happened, or how to explain it. I said it was probably a reaction to trauma, probably situated in his work. When I spoke to him, so it was. OBSERVATION: When someone, quite out of character, "loses it", this may well lie in emotional or physical trauma. Be encouraged, however, that someone who doesn't know such things is not useless at counselling. It has been shown that friends have the same success as experienced counsellors, only it takes more time.
