I was surprised, this morning, to receive a note from the Human Rights Commission. It seemed to me to be out of the blue -- and that on a Saturday -- in connection with a submission I had made quite some time ago. They had reached an opinion concerning a more important part of the complex of events which ended my urban ministry -- and they came down in my favour: "You can lay charges." Again and again, I have been vindicated with regard to the tragic events of that time. Not that anyone is listening -- or maybe they are. OBSERVATION: I may blog about the opinion in greater detail, however as ever, I prefer to do so thoughtfully and advisedly and not "off the cuff".
