This evening I am blogging about a single cheque. This cheque (above) was made out to me, by my old Church. In terms the Church Constitution §23(c), and in terms of banking regulations, it had to bear the signature of the Church treasurer. Here, one sees the signatures of the accounts clerk and the office secretary. I did not bank this cheque. If I had, I could have found myself guilty of fraud, which for a minister is the end of the line. My attorney then received a number of lawyer's letters. The cheque (together with a second cheque) had to be returned personal delivery, "to the home" of the accounts clerk, by my attorney. If it was not, it would never be replaced (quote): "no further payments in this regard". OBSERVATION: There are other cheques like this.
