This week, a sixth investigator was appointed in connection with raids of my property. One of the six, however, was appointed three times and dismissed twice. The police send notifications when an investigator is appointed, so that one may follow the progress: appointed, dismissed, appointed, dismissed, appointed, dismissed ... Personally, I would have sent the perpetrator efficiently to jail (a likely accomplice, too, was named). The case is now in its 80th week, or thereabouts. Unfortunately, somewhere around the 40th week, the evidence fell out of the docket, and nobody heard it drop. Or something. OBSERVATION: All of my personal notebooks were seized. Elsewhere on this blog, I have offered a substantial reward. (But this is just one case. There are more like it).
