Guinea Fowl Eggs

Apart from firewood, our plot in the country has yielded nothing at all ... until now. A guinea fowl laid these eggs last week, and abandoned them. The eggs ended up in a frying pan. OBSERVATION: Son M however -- and friends -- have planted any number of fruit trees. With water flowing underneath the plot, only a metre / yard or so from the hard clay surface, the trees are doing very well so far. It is a strange plot, since about two-thirds of it gets seasonal flooding, and the flood waters can be fierce. (We might have beef and pork, too, if we captured the neighbour's animals walking through our plot).
