Invention Nine: Hair String

From time to time I am putting up promising inventions here -- not as fast as I think of them, though. In the interim, I did have one copyrighted, and hope to make a YouTube video soon. The following is not a new idea, yet it is practically unknown. Where I was in the mission as a boy, one made high quality string with women's hair (of course, men's hair would work, too). This string was spun on the thigh, then woven. Information on the strength of hair varies, but one figure is: three times the strength of nylon. With the human hair trade being worth, say, $1 000 million per annum, this post could launch an industry worth millions. There is no question that this is a practical idea -- it has been in use for hundreds of years.
