Sardine Sunday

I discovered this photo recently: Sardine Sunday 1979. This was a Sunday in the Atlantic Area in Cape Town, where all the neighbourhood Sunday Schools united (like sardines). This is the Sea Point Congregational Sunday School, which was my own Sunday School once. At the time of this photo, I was studying theology. OBSERVATION: Some fifteen years later, this was the only Sunday School left in the area. And some fifteen years after that, the children's work in the area revived.
