Wife E recently completed -- or so we thought -- the final course of her Bachelor of Theology degree. The course was in three parts. The first two parts were plain sailing -- but the third was an exam, which she failed by 1%. Overall, therefore, she had a pass for the course, but the loss of that 1% ensured an overall fail. No rewrite was permitted. OBSERVATION: She can repeat the whole course later in the year. It must be the closest miss I have ever come across. She has done very well with pastoral subjects, but struggled with systematic theology.
