This is a photo of wife E making roosterbrood (roast bread). It is a South African favourite. Mostly, though, I have seen her prepare it over an open fire on the ground. Her mother is a master of the art. OBSERVATION: It is very nice bread. Afrotourism describes it as a rural recipe of long-standing tradition. The roosterbrood that I know does not take 80 minutes to roast, though. Batches get turned out in short order.
