The Mayor And Me

I blogged in June about a (personal) encounter with our city mayor, Patricia de Lille. I wrote then that I said to her: "Be strong. I have been through the same." Having won a series of court cases surrounding her reputation, today she said on News24 -- as if echoing my words: "I could be strong. That should never happen to anyone else." OBSERVATION: I wrote in June: "Many people are sitting on the fence about the mayor. She has been subject to such treatment as so often seems normal in the world, but viewed from a Church perspective, is outrageous." So far, my blog post in June seems to have been borne out.
