No, it's not an Apple Mac. It's an Apple Mac simulation under Linux -- called Pearl. Just for fun, I converted wife E's Samsung to an "Apple Mac" (pictured), requiring almost no effort at all. I created a "persistent" Linux, so that one can unplug a thumb drive, plug it into another computer, and that, too, then becomes an Apple Mac -- with one's new Apple Mac exactly the same as the last. OBSERVATION: Pearl does not work on my Acer Aspire, though.
