Here's a challenge to my readers. This is an example of an old slide which is in a bad way. The image is uncorrupted, but the dyes have faded -- making it more blue than anything. Can it be restored to normalcy? It is my father on the left, an uncle on the right. OBSERVATION: Virtually all colour slides that are 50+ years old, like this one, have degraded in some way. Today, any further degradation can be stopped, by digitising them.
