Auditor's Pretence

A rumour recently resurfaced in my city Church, that a bogus auditor under my ministry had in fact been genuine. This according to the present Church accountant. It does my credibility no good, as I claimed that there was a serious problem. Here, then, is some audio -- myself in discussion with the then legal director of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors, Jane O'Connor. Mrs. O'Connor here makes it clear that there is criminal pretence at the root of the Church's audits. OBSERVATION: An audit, again, is a guarantee that all is well with a Church's finances. Why a finance officer again presents the auditor as genuine is troubling.
