I've had an awful time of it. People started dismantling the outbuildings on my property -- a door, a window, another window, rafters, a wall, furniture, and so on -- and on. Then they pulled a post from under a one-ton tank. A police investigator said he had visited the village but couldn't find a trail. Yesterday I decided to play (very friendly) detective. I had three valuable clues: a mediocre shot of an unknown suspect, a piece of wood dropped in the road, and a satellite photo courtesy of Google. I found a trail within minutes. I found one suspect in a township, and a second on the outskirts, together with my wall and missing furniture -- and obtained complete proof. The police promised to pounce. I'll check if they did.
