Strengthening The 0-35 Age Group

When I started in city ministry in 1994, the ages 0-35 were 13% represented in our Church. In other words, assuming an equal spread of ages as ideal, 87% were missing in that age group. In 2013, my last year in city ministry, the ages 0-35 were 67% represented, which is 33% missing -- much better than most Churches in the area. OBSERVATION: I feel there was one thing above all that did it. We invited young people to minister, in various ways, in the Congregational tradition. Here is an example of a young woman in that age group leading the Sunday worship.
