A web-log may not merely be about self-expression. It can have various uses. My own blog brought about a noticeable improvement in my writing in various areas -- training me to write fast and to the point. Another use is finding summaries of events and issues in the log, which are at my fingertips when I need them. For instance, someone asked me what a minister's priorities are. I had listed them in a post, and could instantly say what they were. OBSERVATION: Writers of the past used regular writing to improve their skills, one example being Bertrand Russell.
POSTSCRIPT: The original purpose of this blog -- and its abiding purpose -- is to help ministers and students for the ministry through my own ministry experience, good or bad.
