An Explosion Of Big Data

I had a strong intuition that I needed a 43rd chapter for my metaphysic, or total philosophy -- on big data -- but I had no words. I couldn't find them, until on Monday, in the final minute before I went to bed, the core concepts came to me. By the time Friday came around, a co-editor ordered it for publication. The article was published this morning: The world in crisis: it’s not what we think. OBSERVATION: Science, within our own generation, has quietly entered a major new phase.  We now have big data, which is extremely large data sets which may be analysed computationally. My colleague captioned the image "The real danger is an explosion -- of Big Data".
