The Will-Ought Distinction

On 20 May this year I had an article published on "the will-ought distinction". If one Googles that, one sees that my article is now featured by Google at the top of the page. In the course of developing my ideas, I had a brief exchange with Prof. John Broome of Oxford, who is renowned for his analysis of the is-ought distinction (a distinction introduced by the Scottish philosopher David Hume, in the image). OBSERVATION: I was surprised to find, when I first researched it, that the will-ought distinction had not been considered before. It did not exist. Yet this distinction may be more significant than the is-ought distinction. My article is at The Will-Ought Distinction.
