A friend posted something yesterday on Facebook about Richard Wurmbrand -- voted the fifth greatest Romanian of all time. He became famous for being persecuted as a Christian pastor. I met him -- in fact he was annoyed with me for addressing him in English. I never understood that. I thought I might have startled him. He was speaking at my seminary in Europe, and travelling with a bodyguard, who was stationed at the door. What he had to say about his torture was awful. He didn't speak about torture as an idea -- he simply spoke about what happened, in detail.
