I am about to be summoned to court for a fifth time in two similar cases, as a state witness. Four times, I have been sent home, which has meant travelling great distances for nothing. I already had proof that evidence was removed from the docket in the first case, and proof that evidence was not found in the docket in the second, and this would explain the fruitless summonses. But recently, a Colonel made an official statement: "The (first) docket perused and no information was removed from the docket." Now the first time that the evidence was removed, I replaced it. When I replaced it, I asked an officer to attest to what was in the docket. Last week, the police sent me a list of what is in it now -- in response to a legal request. Putting the two lists side by side, it is clear that critical information was removed from the docket a second time. OBSERVATION: Some would say, show the Colonel no mercy. I don't think this will be my approach.
