African Colour Scheme

I took this photo at a funeral in a township. This post is not about the funeral, however, but about the colour scheme inside this house. It is a typically African colour scheme, which to some cultures may seem garish. But if one shifts gear in one's mind, one begins to see the beauty of it. OBSERVATION: When we built a cottage, wife E wanted to paint it purple inside -- and we did. Once it was done, it complemented the yellow wood beautifully. Her sister-in-law used the remaining paint to turn her lounge purple.
