My sister had a DNA test done -- it will largely apply to me, too. There are no (big) surprises:
POSTSCRIPT: We did spot a conundrum. My sister ought to be 50% English at most, because we have a German mother. But she is 67% English.
• 84.6% Western EuropeanOBSERVATION: I bear a pure Viking surname, while my second name Oliver is in honour of Huguenot forebears named Olivet, who were persecuted for their faith. This was my mother's maiden name.
• 12% Eastern European, and
• 3.4% West Asian (Middle Eastern)
